What is meant by "support time"?
Support time is the amount of time Eden Valley Creative is able to carry out work on your website for you in addition to the standard updates of themes and plugins.
What sort of work are you able to carry out during the support time?
Common examples of work carried out during the monthly support time are changes to website page content or layout, adding e-commerce products, implementing on-page SEO for blog posts or products, adding pictures to a gallery, fixing technical issues, producing google analytic reports, producing manual backups saved to a local hard drive.
Tasks that are classed under marketing, such as email campaigns, blog writing, social media posting etc, do not qualify for execution during your support time. For such tasks please refer to our marketing packages.
What if the completion of a task takes longer than the support time allowance of my package?
Before starting any task that you wish us to carry out during your support time, Eden Valley Creative will provide an estimate of how long the task will take. The duration of time that goes beyond the support time allowance will be charged separately at an hourly rate. Alternatively, the work could be put on hold until the following month.
Can I carry forward unused support time to the following month?
Unused support time cannot be carried forward to a future month.
Can you explain to me the premium theme and plugin recurring fees that are included in the support packages?
Most of the websites created by Eden Valley Creative use a premium WordPress theme and some use premium plugins for which a fee must be paid. This fee is included in all of our support packages, however, if you decide that our support packages are not for you, and you instead want to choose another agency and hosting company, although you will be able to keep the premium theme and plugins, you will not have access to their updates or technical support from their developers unless you pay the fee yourself. Most themes have an annual payment option or a one-time (lifetime access) fee. For an idea of the cost of a premium theme please see the Divi theme. An example of a premium plugin is Divi Rocket.
I want the Wren package, but it doesn't include a premium speed-optimisation plugin. Can I purchase it as an add-on?
Yes, for a small increase in the monthly fee, we will be happy to provide you with a premium speed-optimisation plugin.
